Set-aside eligibility
Federal contracting officers may set procurements aside for SDVOSB firms, and may make sole-source awards under the applicable thresholds. Where that authority applies, it can shorten a process that would otherwise take months.

California DVBE participation
California agencies carry a Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise participation goal. Our DVBE certification is in process; once issued, work directed to us counts toward that goal.

Small-business status carries its own preference and simplified-acquisition paths at both state and local level, separate from the veteran designations.
